About the Role and Organization – Human Resources Business Partner

  • CFS NY is working with a prominent 40+ year old manufacturing/construction organization that provides design, engineering, fabrication and installation services
  • This role will play an integral part in cultivating HR policies and procedures
  • The HR Business Partner will be working directly with the VP of Finance and the CEO
  • This role is located in Middlesex, NJ in office daily.

Role Responsibilities- Human Resources Business Partner

  • Coach, consult, and advise leaders regarding existing Human Resources programs and services
  • Facilitate the implementation of new programs (new HRIS system)
  • Work on recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, learning and development, performance management, etc
  • Provide payroll support, open enrollment support, run health benefit inquiries, ensure compliance with OFCC/AAP/EEOC and ADA
  • Support all Labor Relation functions including grievance and discipline processing
  • Provide guidance and input regarding HR strategies that support the vision, culture, and business needs of the organization
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and educate managers on new developments when necessary
  • Provide support to managers for all employee related issues

Preferred Qualifications – Human Resources Business Partner

  • 3+ years Human Resources experience and a Bachelor’s degree
  • Worked on previous HRIS systems such as Bamboo, Workday, iCIMS, etc.
