CFS – Don’t Tell Recruiters These Things If You Want The Job

When I read the following article about what not to say to recruiters, I was thinking of the things candidates have said to me over the past couple of years that I really couldn’t believe. What sticks out to me most though is when a candidate tells me what I think I want to hear just to have me put them in front of the hiring manager but then changes their mind without telling me. Although it is important to stay in front of a recruiter it is another thing to waste a hiring manager’s time, especially in accounting and finance where the network is fairly small.  Below is the article with additional points to consider when speaking to a recruiter as well as articles on helping you in your job search and interviewing.
